Scribus is a software desktop publishing(DTP). It is designed for flexible layout and typesetting and the ability to prepare files for professional quality image setting equipment. With Scribus you can create newspapers, brochures, newsletters, posters and books.
I used Scribus to create my project's poster in college.
To install Scribus in Ubuntu Linux trough terminal, please follow the next steps:
- sudo apt-get install scribus;
- type your password;
- when appears the question for install, type 'y';
After the installation is complete, go to Applications → Graphics → Scribus and enjoy it!
